Speech Therapist Jobs in Belgrade, MO at Addus HomeCare can include:
Speech Language Pathologist – The Speech Language Pathologist takes on a variety of functions including
- Conducting appropriate evaluations, assessing home environment (as appropriate), identifying equipment needs relative to speech/language function.
- Identifying functional speech defects and establishing a plan of care to improve patient’s function.
- Administering diagnostic speech and language evaluations and some basic, informal audio logical assessment in accordance with the plan of care
- Recommending communication devices/aids as indicated.
- Preparing a report of each client’s diagnostic evaluation and making recommendations
- Advising, consulting and teaching appropriate procedures and supportive activities to clients, family members, and other agency staff
- Providing direct speech service to clients under a provider’s plan of care. Recording and reporting to the provider the client’s response to therapy
